Technical Index
Application field:
1.Hexamethylenetetramine is mainly used as curing agent of resins and plastics, catalyst and blowing agent of amino plastics, accelerator of rubber vulcanization (accelerator H), anti-shrinkage agent of textiles, etc.
2.Hexamethylenetetramine is a raw material for organic synthesis and is used in the pharmaceutical industry to produce chloramphenicol.
3.Hexamethylenetetramine can be used as a disinfectant for the urinary system, which has no antibacterial effect on its own and is effective against gram-negative bacteria. 20% of its solution can be used to treat armpit odor, sweaty feet, ringworm and so on. It is mixed with sodium hydroxide and sodium phenol and can be used as phosgene absorber in gas masks.
4.Used in the manufacture of pesticide insecticides. Hexamethylenetetramine reacts with fuming nitric acid to produce highly explosive cyclone explosive, referred to as RDX.
5.Hexamethylenetetramine can also be used as a reagent for the determination of bismuth, indium, manganese, cobalt, thorium, platinum, magnesium, lithium, copper, uranium, beryllium, tellurium, bromide, iodide and other chromatography reagents.
6.It's a common military fuel.
7.It is used as curing agent of resin and plastic, accelerator of vulcanization of rubber (accelerator H), anti-shrinkage agent of textile, and used in making fungicides, explosives, etc. When used for medicinal purposes, it has a bactericidal effect when acidic urine decomposes and produces formaldehyde after internal administration, and is used for mild urinary tract infection; It is used to treat ringworm, antiperspirant and armpit odor. Mixed with caustic soda and sodium phenol, used in gas masks as phosgene absorbent.
